Evaluation of patients admitted to the emergency department during religious holidays

Aim: To determine the characteristics of emergency department (ED) presentations during Ramadan Feast and Sacrifice.Materials Methods: We compared patients that presented to ED public holiday for Sacrifice in 2018 2019.Results: During study periods, 37737 people ED. Compared non-holiday time, presenting increased by 14.4%, those 9.8% (p<0.001 both). While there was an increase hospitalized both this rate statistically significant only (20.8%, p=0.0008). The number consultations decreased 5.6% 12.8% (p=0.0002).Conclusion: long religious holiday. Sacrifice, they Feast.
